The Board is the Game

Players stack tiles ("pixels") to grow terrain and build patterns to gain seeds, then plant and evolve creatures with type related abilities, thriving in differently patterned ecosystems.

3D World Map

Influenced by players tactics and interactions, each playthrough turns out as a uniquely shaped 3D open world map, where you can move freely in any direction.

Change, Adaptation and Comeback

While adapting to the changing landscape, seemingly insignificant decisions can change the outcome of the game completely (butterfly effect).

You slip into the skin of the Chlorphies, a secretive species that some would compare to pixies or elves. Since their village has been infested by parasites, it is up to you to create new habitats for the Chlorphies and ensure their survival in the harsh grip of nature. As the game progresses, the board grows and changes. Its dynamics depend on the players’ visions and actions. Support the expansion of your Chlorphy type with help of its unique abilities and establish a thriving, resilient population on the playing field. You will shape the landscape, cultivate ecosystems and try to inhibit the development of competing Chlorphy types to ensure the dominance of yours. Aim of the game is to increase your Chlorphy population by planting as many of their seeds as possible, while decreasing opposing populations. The game ends as soon as no pixels can be placed anymore or the chosen amount of rounds have reached their limit. The ranking of the winners is determined by the number of grown Chlorphies on the board, totaled with earned credits (supplanted opposing Chlorphies). Additional info: I am currently working on a refined prototype with custom 3D models and stackable tiles, everything fitting in a much smaller box. Furthermore, besides the already existing team mode (2 vs. 2), an advanced mode (containing more components such as resources and NPC with additional rules) is in development as well. The game is perfectly fun, intuitive and complete without them already though. ;) Everything is easy to understand, despite its deep strategy. Round Counter make it able to adjust the time frame the game is played in. The element of negotiation and symbiosis (where abilities and ecosystems can work together) makes everything even more interactive. The Nestifyz statistics of players feedback for Chlorpix are already quite powerful, since we're playtesting weekly.
